She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrico Gentini and Francesca R. Antonic Gentini; her husband Lt. Colonel Donald Christensen; and her sisters, Mattilde Riva and Louisa Sigmon.
She is survived by: her significant other Ken King; her children, Linda M. Tolbert (Mark) of Annandale, VA and Rick Christensen (Sandy) of Millsboro, DE; her grandchildren, David (Magda), Brian (Katie), Michael Tolbert (Kim), Michelle Christensen and Jennifer Christensen Heston (Bill); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Peyton, Victoria, Chase, Natalia of Nicholas, D. J and Brooks Heston.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association.
