She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Carper and Addie E. Haynes Clark; her siblings, Elbert, Roy, Chester, Raymond, Junior, McCoy Clark, Estelle Clark, Era Widener, Magdalene Triplett and Virginia Foley; and her husband Robert T. Cassidy.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Ann Huffman (Paul), Carol Frances Frantz (Tom) and John Peter Cassidy (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Kate, Kelsey Huffman, Margaret, Elizabeth Frantz, Jane, Ann, Jack and Henry Cassidy; and her niece Joyce Maxie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
