We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2025, at the age of 87, Franklin Morris (Dover, Delaware) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Franklin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his son Butch Morris; and his brother Wayne Morris. He is survived by: his daughter Frances Overstreet (Ed Overstreet) of Nashville, GA; his girlfriend Ruby Twilley; and his siblings, Mary Dill of Wyoming, Betty Ann Clough of Hazletville, Jeanie Deacon (Tommy) of Wyoming and Clifton Morris (Janie) of Hazletville. He is also survived by 5 Grand Children and 5 Great Grand Children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trader Funeral Home, Inc. (12 Lotus St, Dover, DE 19901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
