It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Jackson of Dover, Delaware, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hill and Mary Ellerby-Hill; her husband Leon Jackson; her grandson Christopher Jackson; and her siblings, Cora Hill, Eugene Hill, John Hill and Jimmy Hill.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Kathleen Hill; her children, Leona Mulhern (Neil), Brenda Sudler, James Jackson, Michael Jackson, Thunderwolf (Yolanda), Martin Jackson and Kathleen Jackson; and her grandchildren, Tracey Williams, Marie Ingram, Tiffany Jackson, April Wailes, Brandy George, Kyra Johnson, Paul Jackson, Monica Jackson-Kois, Martin Jackson, Jr., Eric Perez, Tiamarie Valenzuela and Martina Jackson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held 9am-10:30am, Thursday, July 2, 2020, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State St., Dover; both adhering to the current Covid-19 restrictions. Burial will be Private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
