He was predeceased by : his wife Marcia Mahoney; and his siblings, Jay Mahoney (Geri), Ernest Mahoney and Mildred Kaneicki (Mike). He is survived by : his son Scott Mahoney (Jill); his girlfriend JoAnne Chilcote; his partner's son Joseph Chilcote (Melanie); and also Roman Chilcote.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
