He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila "Diann" Evans; his parents, James Evans and Martha Evans; his sister Jeannie Barnes; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Lightbody and Sandy Evans.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Michelle Stokes and Michael Stokes; his grandchildren, Rebecca Stokes and Antonio Pino; his great grandchildren, Riann Jones, Kofi Jones and Aleigha Lopez; his siblings, Mary Lightbody, Bill Evans (Dee), Charles Evans, Tim Evans and Ruthie Young (Glen); and his sister-in-law Linda Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to assist his nieces in bringing Jimmy home.
