He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles David Hackney and Dorothy Lee Hackney; his wife June; and his brother David "Lee" Hackney. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Hackney of Dover, DE and Chris Hackney (Angelica) of Wildomar, CA; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kam, Isela, Mackenzie, Christopher, Maxwell and Adriana; his nieces, Sheri Wolfe (Dave) and Shellie Hackney; and his nephew Adam Davis (Terri).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice Center.
