He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Irene; his wife Effie Marie Walker; his sons, Tracey Walker and Troy Walker (Kim); his adoptive son Steve Dilland; and his brother Melvin. He was also cherished by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
