She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Madeline Dorothy Wise; and her niece Jessie Leeanne Gerhard. She is survived by: her husband William H. Wightman III (Billy); her children, Xavier Joseph of Dover, Liam James of Dover and Adeline JoyAnne Wightman of Dover; and her siblings, Jason Todd of Ellendale, Jesse Lee of Ellendale, Jacob Willey Gerhard of Ellendale, Jeanna Kate Gerhard of Milford and Jacquelyn Susan Gerhard of Longneck.

Jennifer passed peacefully in her sleep due to a pulmonary embolism following a recent leg injury and COVID-19 diagnosis.
