He is survived by: his close friend Anita Mumford; his son Cody Newman (Samantha); his stepchildren, Melissa McMullen (Brian), Shane Mumford (Kelly), Cody Mumford (Jordan) and Dakota Mumford (Kaylee); his grandchildren, Hunter, Sage, Brayden, Bailey, Shane II, Payton, Caleb, Avery, Haylie, Emersyn, Grant, Karson and Kane; his great grandchildren, Asher Diaz and Zoey Mumford; and his nieces, Jaime Marcum of North Carolina and Jennifer Walker of North Carolina.
