It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Buxton (Dover, Delaware), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie B. Blair and Alice Marie Blair; her siblings, Frank, Sam, Bob, Billy, Danny Blair, Janet Blair, Rose Bennett and Deanie Buxton; and her niece Jeri Garber.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Scarbriel (Matt) of Felton; her siblings, Wayne Sapp (Carol) of Viola, Charles Blair of Marydel, Jean Aiken of Dover and Doris Carey of Sharon, PA.; her grandchildren, Kortney Green (William), Madison Scarbriel, Xavier Scarbriel, Caius, Cayson, Caelum Green, Skyler and Kian Scarbriel-Emory; her caregiver Raquel Diaz; her pets, Pugsly and Cooper; and her aunts, Grace Johnson and Emily Emerson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
