She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Viola and Eva Viola; and her brother Richard Viola. She is survived by: her spouse Ediberto Mercado; her son Thomas Umstead; her stepsons, Johnny Mercado and Eddie Mercado; and her grandchildren, Victoria Umstead, Michael Reynolds, Brandon Umstead, Deanna Umstead and Gavin Mercado.
