We announce the death of Joel Brittingham of West Chester, Pennsylvania, born in Exton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 87. Joel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Brittingham (Scheibe) and Charles Brittingham; his wife Frances; and his siblings, Martin, Leonard and Lois.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Brittingham (Sean) of Lehighton, PA, Sarah Brittingham (Philippe) of Mount Airy, MD, Theresa Rollo (Michael) of Wilmington and Lisa Faella (Michael) of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Eva Hajjar, Nicholas Hajjar, Zach Hajjar, Anthony Rollo, Giovanni Rollo, Michael Faella and Mia Faella.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maranatha Baptist Church (605 W Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE 19901).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maranatha Baptist Church.
