He is survived by: his wife Sherry Bougourd; his children, John N. Bougourd V and Jennifer Bougourd; his siblings, Harry Bougourd (Sharon), Kathy Grant (Rob) and Ellen Knight (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Joshua Bougourd, Jewel Payton and Raven Keller; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Payton, Noah Payton and Benjamyn Gier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Torbert Funeral Chapel (1145 E Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
