John Jack Mitchell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Jack Mitchell of Dover, Delaware, born in Little Creek, Delaware, who passed away on February 16, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Replogle Mitchell and Doris Blanner Mitchell; his wife Ruth Ann Singleton Mitchell; his daughters, Libby McConville (David) of Gay and Jo Ann (Misha) of Atlanta, Georgia; and his granddaughters, Molly Moye Hyattsville, MD (Damaize), Marlena Henning Denver (Colin) and Mariel McConville (Tate).

He is survived by: his grandsons, Heath and Hunter Helms; his great grandchildren, Marshall, Maeve, Mercy Moye and James George; his sister Carolyn; his nieces, Deborah Seward, Dawn King and Kristen Chirillo; and his nephew Christopher Chirillo. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Robbins Hose Company in Jack's honor.
