He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Norbit Mathews and Margaret Mathews (Bowen). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley May Mathews (Hatcher); his sons, Christopher Michael Mathews (Katie) and Keith Wayne Mathews (Kelly); his sister Donna Murphy (Mathews); and his grandchildren, Alicia, Mercedes and Aiden.
