He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Forwood; and his uncle Russ Forwood. He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Shelly" Kashner; his mother Elaine Sheldon; his children, Olivia Dittmar (Eric), Mason Kashner-Forwood and Adam Kashner-Forwood; and his sisters, Jill Hurt, Jennifer Taggart (Charles) and Joyce Forwood. He is also survived by extended family includes many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
