She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Franks and Joan Brakespear; her husband Frank Smith; and her siblings, Jillian Franks and David Franks.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Sweeting of Pensacola, FL, James Edward Smith (Deb) of Felton, DE and Frank Smith, Jr. (Romy) of Atlanta, GA; her grandson Christopher J. Smith; and her siblings, Andrew Franks (Leslie) of Victoria and Pauline Ferro Button of Auburn, NY. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren: 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (35 Rising Sun Rd, Camden Wyoming, DE 19934).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to First State Shelter and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
