She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Rose Durk and George Durk Sr. Loving; her brothers, George Durk Jr. (Merce) and John Durk (Janice); and her friend Ambruso. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
She was a proud survivor of 3 bouts of cancer throughout her life and, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Rose's name to the American Cancer Society.
