With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Daniel Ivory of Dover, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ivory and Ida Furber; his stepparents, Edith Ivory and Daniel Furber; his siblings, Theodore "Buster" Ivory, Daniel "Buddy" Furber, Sara Wilkinson, Ida Masten, Mary Shockley and Ruthann Wolf; and his granddaughter Courtney Lynn Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ivory; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Ivory; his daughter Cheryl; his son-in-law Louis Wyatt; his grandchildren, Tyler Wyatt (Brooke), Colby Baughman (Ryan) and McKenzie Hardy (JR); his great grandchildren, Leah Wyatt, Jenna Wyatt, John Wyatt, Warren Baughman and Stetson Hardy; his siblings, Walter "Dickie" Ivory, William "Billy" Ivory (Sherry), Frederick "Sonny" Furber (Theresa), Barbara Campbell and Elizabeth Lewis; his sister-in-law Sharon Ivory; and his nieces, Sara Lee Hammock (Jerry), Patricia Brittingham (Victor) and Dawn Tribbett. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
