He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Spicer and John Spicer; his stepfather Dwayne Gibson; his siblings, Phyllis, Tracy and Vincent; and his granddaughter Maisy Pearl.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Michael C. Spicer, Jr. (Crystal), Dustin Poore, Shanon Pierce (August) and Stephanie Ottinger (Jared); and his grandchildren, Justin, Savannah, Madilynn, Olivia, Evan, Rosalee, Everly, Kellyn and Korra. He is also survived by many other siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
