He is survived by: his wife Joann; his sons, Andre Brown and Oakley Brown III; his grandchildren, Michel'le Brown, Cierra Brown, Khayri Brown, Fabrea McCray, Pashence Harris, Logan Strickland and Miranda Strickland; his great grandchildren, Aston, Alia and Preston Smith; his siblings-in-law, Margaret "Betty" Anderson, Andrea Hinson, Rev. Kimberly Hinson-Henry, William Andrew Hinson Jr., Daniel Henry Sr. and Bilal Hawkins; his sibling's children, Greta Fountain, Jerlynn Rochester, Karen Lewi, Lisa Ward-Powell, Maria McClure, Brett, DeShawn, Rev. William Ward Jr., Rev. Daniel Ward and Rev. Justin Powell; his sister Shirley McCollister; his cousins, Nate Murray and Arnold Murray; his caregivers, Shirlyn Lowman, Chrysler, Bobby Collins, Tony Hall and Edward Simms Sr.; Kevin Gainer. He is also survived by his dog and buddy "Chicko" and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
