He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Elihue Smith; and his siblings, Frances Smith, Donald Smith, Onvey Smith, Ruth Bare and Ralph Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith of Camden; his sons, Mark Smith (Katie) of Elsmere and Paul Smith, Jr. of Smyrna; his grandchildren, Julia of Elsmere, Carly of Elsmere, James of Elsmere and Dixie Kay Smith of Elsmere; and his sister Lillie Smith (Robert) of New Carlisle, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
