He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Sabanayagam; his sons, Chandran and Nathan Sabanayagam; his daughters-in-law, Kim Sabanayagam and Sarah Brindell; his grandchildren, Ty, Quinn, Eve, Nate, Desmond and Chandran; and his siblings, Gnanambikai (Kunchu), Mathiaparanam Selva (Mathi), Chandralehka (Chandra), Lalitha (Lali), Kamala (Bobby) and Kamalanathan (Nathan).
