He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Meekins and Alene Meekins; his wife Rachel; his son Jonaton; his siblings, Ronnie Meekins (Valerie), Gary Meekins (Fonda), Larry Meekins (Lucy), Gregory Meekins, Gail Matthews (Gregory), Faye Perry, Linda and Billy; his aunts and uncles, Agnes, Mary, Othella, Ethel, Downes, William and Albert; and his grandparents, Mary, Ralphael Curtis and Rosie Meekins. He was also cherished by his six sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
