He is survived by: his siblings, Freddie Thomas Jr. and Jackie Davis-Byrd; his children, Robert Turner Jr. (Nyesha), Johnny Turner (Brenda) and Tangie Gulley; his stepchildren, Frances Thomas (Freddie Jr), April Hardison (Charles), Chester Kellam and Wayne Kellam; and his close friend Purcell Gibbs. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
