It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald E. Holmes of Dover, Delaware, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Holmes and Maggie Brown Holmes; his wife Delores Holmes; and his siblings, Violice Stanford, Gladys Holmes, Marilyn Nichols, Mildred Holmes, Alvin Holmes, William Holmes, Sr. and Gilbert Holmes.
He is survived by: his son Evan Holmes (Vonda); his grandchildren, Ryan and Madison Holmes; his stepchildren, Crystal Morris and William Smith; his sister Joyce Coursey (Thomas); and his nieces and nephews, Shirley Cottom (John), Sherita Cottom, Anton "Tony" Coursey, Sr. (Marcel) and Carlton "Pickle" Holmes.
