It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Edward Shomo of Dover, Delaware, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on June 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his brother Bill Shomo (Jan); his children, Ron Jr. (Kim) and Nannette Wright (Glenn); his grandchildren, Alan Shomo (Thora), Ann Shomo (Kevin), Samantha Wright (Vicente), Bryan Wright, Jessica Ashby (Mark) and Stephanie Fenton; and his great grandchild Marky Ashby. He is also survived by his family, that included his children as well as his extended family.
We would encourage that in lieu of flowers to give to the Ron Shomo, Sr. memorial music scholarship for future DHS music majors to continue to bring music to all.
