She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Berghorn; her parents, William T. Conner, Sr. and Helen E. Conner; her son James Clayton Alexander; and her brother Clarence "Nip" Conner.

She is survived by: her daughter Janice A. Alexander of Dover; her stepdaughters, Nancy Winter of Arizona and Carol Williams of Kansas; her brother William T. Conner, Jr. (Kathy) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Erica Alexander, Shane Durham, Kerri Parton (Ricky), Erin Gagliano (Ryan Jensen), Christina Dupont (Jeremy), Joseph Winter, Robert Williams and Jessica Williams. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
