He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stier, and Catherine Stier, Sr. (Fleming). He is survived by: his son Gerad T. Stier; and his brothers, John Stier (LouAnn) and Raymond Stier (Rosemarie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nativity BVM Church (30 E Franklin St, Media, PA 19063). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
