It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernardean Lee Brooks (Dover, Delaware), who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frannie Cowger and Elmer Cowger; her husband William Brooks (Bill); her former husband Robert Beckner (Bob); and her children, Ronald Beckner and Brenda Beckner.
She is survived by: her brother Lester Cowger of Englewood, CO; her grandchildren, Mark Beckner of Reston, VA, Heather Sinclair of Camden, DE and Jason Sinclair of Jacksonville, FL; and her great grandchildren, Abbagail, Olivia, Madelyn, Alex, Gracyn, Parker and Blake.
