He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Hurley, III and Margaret C. Comegys Hurley; and his sisters, Margaret J. and Clara S. Hurley. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hurley; his children, Melissa Pickens (Wayne), Carey Hurley (Amie) and Aaron Hurley (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Kate-Lynn Hurley (Peyton), Brie-Anna Pickens, Wesley Hurley, Brooklen Hurley, Brandon Hurley, Dallas Hurley and Bristol Hurley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Torbert Funeral Chapel South (1145 E Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
