He was predeceased by: his parents, William McPhail and Margaret McPhail; his wife Margaret McPhail; and his siblings, Charlie, Jessie, Esther and Alec.
He is survived by: his children, Scott of Dover, Bill (Patty) of Camden and Maureen Daugherty; his son-in-law Kevin of Felton; and his daughter Paula Petracca. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Torbert Funeral Chapel (1145 E Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions go to Delaware Hospice, Memorial, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963.
