He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis William and Frances "Tucker" Messick; and his sisters, Joyce Ensminger and Tina Kemper. He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Messick (Wimer); his children, Adam Messick (Michelle) and Deena Messick Fitzgerald (Matt); his grandchildren, Bayley Jo Messick and Katelyn Fitzgerald (Logan Warncke); and his siblings, Timothy Messick, Patricia Wagner, Dianne Howell, Steve Messick, Barbara Rogers, Sheila Breckner, Donald Messick and Terry Messick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his beloved dog and companion.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Cedarfield Ruritan Club, 315 Tubmill Pond Road, Milford, DE 19963.
