He was predeceased by : his brother Norman Kristic, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Melissa Kristic of Felton; his stepson Seth Ames of North Haven, ME; his father Curtis Barlett; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Barlett of Dover; his sister-in-law Kim Showen Kristic of Charleston, WV; his niece Paige Kristic of California; and his nephew Norman III of West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Ducks Unlimited, the First State Animal Center and SPCA, or the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
