She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hudson and Elizabeth Hudson (Wyatt); her former husband Paul Harper, Sr.; her son Paul Harper, Jr.; and her brother Marshall Hudson.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin L. Rust; her children, Terri Harper Miles, Kelly Anderson and Kent Harper (Lisa Travalini); and her grandchildren, Kevin Anderson, Karen Anderson, Kaitlin Rogers (Jonathan) and Storm Miles. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, or St. George's United Methodist Church, 34337 Omar Road, Frankford, DE 19945.
