He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Hargett of Dagsboro, DE; his children, Linda Hargett of New Bern, NC, Barbara Hargett of New Bern, NC, Peggy Vann (Charles) of Roxanna, DE, John L Hargett, Jr. of Dagsboro, DE, Racshel Paynter of Millsboro, DE, Toni Morris (Alonzo) of Salisbury, MD and Nathan Hargett of Delmar, MD; his siblings, Annie Pearl Mason of New Bern, NC and Amos Hargett, Jr. of New Bern, NC.; and his son Doug Beauchamp. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend.
