She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Sue Doughty and Mallie Willies; her brothers, Gene Doughty, Fred Drummond, Kenneth Drummond and Thurman Doughty; and her goddaughter Myeisha Everette.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Louis Garrison of Frankford, Delaware; her children, Charlotte Green of Georgetown, Delaware, Pamela Hitchens (Jerone), Glena Garrison (Michele) of Chestertown, Maryland, Kevin Garrison of Houston and Bryant Garrison of San Antino; her sisters, Neviles Fisher of Frankford, Delores Drummond of Frankford, Bonnie Doughty of Berlin, Belinda Drummond of Frankford and Lisa Doughty Hughey (Tyrone) of Salisbury, MD.; her close friend Inez Davis (Beatrice Sturgis); and her siblings-in-law, Faith Drummond, Dorry Willis, Annie "Peachy Girl" Elizabeth Williams, Gene "Billy" Autrey Garrison (Glenda) and Brooks Eugene Garrison. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren: one great-great-granddaughter.
