She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph E. Lawson and Novella Walters; and her husband Jack F. Owens. She is survived by: her family, Timothy Esham (Susan), Shannon Owens (Lee Johnson), Jack "Jay" F. Owens, Jr. (Katie) and Kara Raab (Steve); her sister Mona Wyatt; and her cousin Aleta Esham (Billy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delaware Tech Educational Foundation in support of the Jack F. Owens Scholarship Fund.
