He was predeceased by : his father Vaughn Davis; his former life partner Margie Lynch Davis; his wife Pearl Eva Davis; his close friend Arvella Sirman; and his children, Jimmy Lee Davis, Rosemary Stewart and Wilma Lee Nelson.

He is survived by : his children, Wayne E. Davis (Rosa) of Parsonsburg, MD, Shirley Ann Davis of Willards, MD and Susie Pearl Davis Rickards (Lester) of Frankford, DE.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
