It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gena G. Eggleston of Georgetown, Delaware, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, June Tietmeyer and Francis Tietmeyer. She is survived by : her husband John Eggleston; her daughters, Miranda Tietmeyer and Mallory Eggleston; her grandchildren, Miranda (Lia) and Landyn; her siblings, Greg Tietmeyer (Ellen), Gayle King and Genni Phillips (Shane); her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Tietmeyer, Gregory Tietmeyer (Paige), Andrew Bunting, Dylan King, Elijah Bunting and Alexis Phillips; and her pets, Otto and Gibby.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Gena's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
