She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving H. Scott and Bertha Marie Scott (Snyder); her husband Timothy Murphy; and her brothers, Donald Scott, Allan Scott, Ralph Scott and Steve Scott.
She is survived by: her sisters, Doris Trescher and Audrey Calabrese (Tom). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services (32013 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Memorial Gardens (2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008).
