She is survived by: her husband Bill Goins; her sons, Mike Goins (Kacie) and Matt Goins (Beth); her grandchildren, William, Reid and Rylee Goins; and her brothers, Gary (Catherine), Jim (Peggy), Bill and Bob Coulbourne (Bonnie). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Short Funeral Services, Georgetown Chapel (609 E Market St, Georgetown, DE 19947). Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Georgetown Chapel (609 E Market St, Georgetown, DE 19947). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Susan's memory to the Georgetown Fire Company Auxiliary, an organization that meant a great deal to her.
