Violet L. Hynson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Violet L. Hynson of Georgetown, Delaware. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Willey and Charlotte Willey (Insley); and her husband David Hynson. She is survived by: her daughter Deanna Taylor (Jeff); her grandchildren, Ashley Ward (Tom) and Jack Wise (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Jessie and Oaklynn; and her sister Yvonne "Pooch" Green. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mardela Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Violet to Bayview Baptist Church, 534 E 4th Street, Laurel, DE 19956 or to the Delmarvalous Quilt Guild, P.O. Box 66, Georgetown, DE 19947.
