He was predeceased by : his parents, Horace Godwin and Margaret Godwin (Quinter); his daughter Karyn; and his siblings, Earl, Edwin, James, Robert, Albert, Anna, William, Betty and Kate.
He is survived by : his wife Joan Godwin; his son David (Sandy); his grandchildren, Dana (Jose) and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Collin, Alaina and Chloe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
