Wilburt Thomas Adams Obituary

We announce the death of Wilburt Thomas Adams of Georgetown, Delaware, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Wilburt will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac John Adams and Phoebe Adams (Parker); his daughter Christine Adams; his siblings, John "Johnny" Adams, Fred Adams, Clifton "Dee" Adams, Howard "Tuck" Adams, Virginia "Ginny" Verosko and Connie Jane Adams; and his grandson Clifford Elliott.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Adams; his daughters, Yvonne Adkins of Lincoln, Marlene Baynard of Bridgeville, Denise Hamilton of Lewes, Joyce Mears of Georgetown and Linda Richardson of Georgetown; and his siblings, Evelyn Parker of Georgetown, Sylvia Turner of Pendleton and Martin Adams of Georgetown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces.
