He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Long, Sr. and Alice E. Long; and his brothers, Byron Long, Guy Long and Danny Long.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Long; his children, Heather Harris (Dashon), Allen Long Jr. and Chelsea Long; his stepchildren, Renee Walters and Stacy Hafer; and his brother William "Billy" Long, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melvin Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952).
