We announce the death of Mary Ellen Gallo of Greenwood, Delaware, who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 83. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Lanham and Catherine Lanham (Abell); her husband Rudy Gallo; her grandson Stuart Livingstone, Jr.; her siblings, Raymond Lanham and Shirley Holmes; and her brother-in-law Aaron Perkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Maya (Jorge) and Debbie Perkins (Timmy); her stepsons, Rob Gallo (Mary Ann), Tom Gallo (Dawn) and Brion Gallo (Lori); and her sisters, Betty Pound (Dwight), Patty Perkins and Glenda Guzinski (Ron). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either the Brandywine Valley SPCA, Georgetown Campus, 22918 Dupont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947 or to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
