She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred O'Day and Irvin O'Day; her husband Watson Franklin Brown; her son Franklin Dale Brown; and her sisters, Thelma O'Day, Joyce Davis, Jeannie Marker and Tishie VanVorst.
She is survived by: her daughter Dina Wright (Shawn); her grandchildren, Chastity A. Harvey (Billy Jr), Isaac Lewis and Derek Lewis; her great grandchildren, Billy Harvey III, Dylan Harvey and Heather Harvey; her siblings, Doris Ross, Paul O'Day, Janet Williams, Lois Pritchett and Linda Horne; and her sister-in-law Gladys VanVorst. She is also survived by cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
