Retta W. Clifton Obituary
We announce the death of Retta W. Clifton of Harbeson, Delaware, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her husband Dale W. Clifton Sr.; her son John David Clifton; her parents, John Samuel Warrington and Anna King Walls; and her sisters, Ethel Hastings, Pearl Warrington and Leah Betts.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Sherwood (Rick), Karen Weer (Jim) and Dale W. Clifton Jr. (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Maryann Clifton; her grandchildren, Lisa Lombardozzi (Pat), Heather Gillin (Brian), Brett Sherwood (Ann), Ashley Weer and Jimmy Weer III (Lauryn); and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Emily Lombardozzi, Conner Johnson, Foster Sherwood, Sophie Gillin, Tessa and Naomi Weer.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery of Milton, Unio (521 Union St, Milton, DE 19968).
